   Mission Statement   

Our purpose in the organization is to help people build and give back the confidence within themselves.  And to remind everyone that

IT IS NEVER TOO LATE

Most people over the age of 65 fear exercise or do strenuous activities in risk of falling or accidental deaths.  In fact, about 50% of all accidental deaths at home are due to falls.  About 33% of people over the age of 65 will experience a fall.  Of those, 20-30% of the people result in lacerations, hip fractures or head traumas.  

Our goal is to help reduce these odds and rebuild the muscles and agility necessary to prevent fatal injuries by introducing modified exercises from professionals and trained athletes.

This organization is not meant to replace or substitute a routine physical regimen such as a workout class or daily bike rides.  Black and Blue Cross is meant as a tool for people to get motivated and either join a class and or be self motivated to better their health.
